Choosing Loyalist is a rewarding experience

When I decided to go back to school after graduating from the print program in my hometown of Niagara Falls and working full-time for a few years, I came across the e-journalism program at Loyalist College and it fulfilled everything that I had a passion for.

It has been the most rewarding decision, personally and professionally I’ve ever made. Not only could I utilize the skills I gained in my previous academic career, but I was able to add a slew of new skills. From learning how to build a website from scratch to editing video and audio features. Most importantly, it taught me how to implement all these forms of new media into telling the story the way it should be told.

I’m currently the web video producer/web developer for a downtown Toronto agency, which helps companies market themselves online in various forms of new media.
